The official language of the congress is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
Payment of congress-related matters such as registration fees, tickets for tours and social programme etc. will be handled in Euro only.
You will receive a personalised badge when collecting your registration documents. During the Congress, this badge must be clearly visible at all times and grants access to the Scientific Sessions, Commercial Exhibition and official Social Events.
The Scientific Programme will be accredited by the Italian Medical Association according to the directives of the European Continous Medical Education Programme.
For official delegates to the Congress, a Certificate of Attendance is available at the registration desk.
Delegates are advised to arrange health and accident insurance prior to travelling to the Congress. The Congress Organisers will not assume any responsibility for accidents, losses or damages, as well as for delays or modifications in the programme, caused by unforeseen circumstances. No claims for indemnification from the organisers shall arise for contractors or participants in case of cancellation, for any reason, of the entire Congress.
Coffee and snacks will be offered during the respective breaks within the exhibition area. This service is included in the registration fee.
On request, the Congress Secretariat will be pleased to send letters of invitation to individual scientists. Invitations of this kind are intended to assist potential delegates to raise their travel funds or obtain visas. They do not imply any commitment or responsibility on behalf of the Congress to provide financial support. Please note that letters of invitation can only be sent after receipt of registration and payment of full registration fee.
Please note that Visa applications can take a while to be processed, so please send us your request for a letter of invitation in due time, at latest until Monday, February 28, 2011.
